## Why We Exist

###### Our planet is facing urgent challenges, from biodiversity loss and climate change to overconsumption and pollution. In response, countless organizations and sustainable brands are developing powerful solutions. But progress doesn’t just depend on innovation. It depends on understanding.

###### Too often, these vital efforts go unnoticed or misunderstood. Without public awareness, support, or funding, even the most impactful work can fall short. That’s where we come in—helping mission-driven teams transform complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that inspire action.

## Meet Our Founder

###### Holly Robilliard is a creative strategist with a lifelong love for the natural world and storytelling. Raised near the Great Lakes and drawn to wildlife from an early age, she always knew her path would involve protecting the planet. That journey eventually led her to California, where she earned a degree in marine biology and spent her time studying the effects of climate change on the aggregating anemone, *Anthopleura elegantissima*.

###### While sharing her research with scientists, policymakers, and local communities, she kept encountering the same obstacle. The science was strong, but the message wasn’t landing. There was a disconnect between complex insight and public understanding. That realization sparked a new mission—to bridge that gap through clear, compelling communication.

## Why BCC?

###### After years of helping science and tech-based organizations shape their message, Holly felt called back to her roots in conservation. She left her company and founded Blue Carbon Creative to support the people and brands working hardest to protect our planet.

###### Today, BCC partners with mission-driven teams to turn complex ideas into clear, impactful stories. Because when the message connects, the mission moves forward—and so does the world.
